Joel Velez has always been proud of the determination his father, Neptali, showed when he recovered from his heart surgery at TUH nearly 20 years ago. Today, Joel is looking to his dad for inspiration again as he recovers from his own heart transplant at TUH.
Recently, the teams that oversaw the renovation of each cafeteria at Temple University Hospital, Episcopal Campus, Northeastern Hospital and Jeanes Hospital gathered to celebrate the completion of these extremely well-done makeovers.
